Supported Living (24-hour Medicaid Waiver)

Easter Seals Arc provides a continuum of support for individuals to live in their own home or apartment in the community.  The Supported Living program (supported by Medicaid Waiver funding) assists an individual in finding a house or apartment and to find 1 to 2 compatible individuals to share the home with them (living alone is also sometimes an option based on the individual's budget and waiver funding).  The program will also assist with apartment or house set up, budgeting, daily living skills training, medical appointments, medication administration and recreation activities.  The goal of the program is for the person to live as independently in the community as he/she is able and to realize their own desired outcomes for their life.  The degree of support can change based on the needs of the individual.
