NORTHEAST INDIANA AUTISM AWARENESS CONFERENCE

Saturday, November 7, 2009, marks the first Northeast Indiana Autism Awareness Conference, presented by Easter Seals Arc & The Steuben County Autism Support Group.

Because of a growing need to address the autism epidemic, several organizations and presenters are rallying together to share resources and information about autism and autism spectrum disorders.
Topics include:

Behavior remedies
Siblings/Sibshops
Casein free/Gluten free diet
Socialization
Music therapies
Asperger spouses
And many more…

Representatives from Easter Seals Arc, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities (BDDS), and InSOURCE will also be present.

The Northeast Indiana Autism Awareness Conference is on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at Trine University, Best Hall, in Angola, Indiana, from 9am to 3pm (Registration is from 8-9am).  Cost is $20 and includes a lunch buffet.  Checks can be mailed to Lee Ann Snyder:  115 W. Driving from the north or south on I-69, take exit 148 (US 20, Angola/LaGrange exit) and travel east about 2.5 miles to University Ave.

From East or West
Driving from the east or west, take either the Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90) or US 20.  From the Indiana Toll Road take the Angola exit, then take I-69 south to exit 148 (US 20, Angola/LaGrange exit) and travel east about 2.5 miles to University Ave.
