Adult Day Services

Easter Seals Arc’s Adult Day Center daily serves 140 adults age 18 (out of high school) and older. Approximately 60% are severely disabled and 25% are seniors. Most need highly individualized attention, such as assistance with eating, toileting and gross motor skills.

The ADC is one of the few local adult day centers that has meaningful day programs customized for people with disabilities. Open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., it provides a medical/social model for adults who can’t succeed or benefit from a work setting, allowing caregivers to work, rest and play so they can continue being productive members of the community.

Easter Seals Arc also has a day program designed specifically for senior citizens:

"Silver Bullets":  Features professional instructors leading art, music, health & wellness and home ec activities; daily community outings with an emphasis on involvement in Senior Activities (through the Community Center, Senior Programs through Parks and Rec., Library, etc.) and volunteering at local not-for-profit agencies.  Some of the activities currently being offered include reading classes through Ivy Tech, computers, exercise classes, sewing, art, karaoke and much more!
